Tea Ceremony Experience and Garden Guided Tour

In April, we rented the Shinsen-tei tea house at Rikugien Garden and held a "Tea Ceremony Experience and Garden Guided Tour" for overseas tourists.

At bikeTKgardens, with the cooperation of a practitioner of the Omotesenke school of tea ceremony, you can experience both the tea ceremony and a Japanese garden at the same time.
In Japan, the tea ceremony and gardens have developed simultaneously and are inseparable. Instead of experiencing them separately, our guests can experience them together in an authentic setting, receiving guidance from experts in both fields. The tea ceremony is often called "moving Zen," a comprehensive Japanese art form and philosophy. Why not take this opportunity to delve deeper into Japanese culture?

Experiencing authentic Japanese architecture, tea rooms, tea utensils, hanging scrolls, tea flowers, kimonos, matcha tea and sweets, etiquette, and gardens is actually not easy for tourists. Even for us Japanese, it's a daunting (difficult) experience. A unique Tokyo experience combining a Japanese garden tour with a tea ceremony, guided by a professional gardener.

We had 16 guests from the United States, and they gave us very positive feedback. Thank you very much.
This is from a different day. During cherry blossom season, Rikugien Garden also operates a tea house at this Shinsen-tei.

bikeTKgardens organizes tours and experiences that introduce gardens and Japanese culture.
